SAGA Capital specializes in structuring deals to satisfy the financing needs of small- to mid-size financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. We analyze the available data and develop solutions that involve nontraditional asset classes and structures not usually available outside large-scale investment banking operations. In many cases, this means raising capital for existing but underfunded operations via new, low-cost US-based or offshore structures, tapping government financing programs, or collateralizing certain types of assets. There is a voluminous quantity of market information available on a worldwide basis that can impact potential solutions to a problem. Our approach to data is unlimited and top down, meaning working down from the macro to the micro level with the insight gained from SAGA’s vision. We introduce our clients to opportunities throughout the world, in asset classes that they would not typically learn about from their usual financial advisors. We then add value by tailoring these solutions to the specific needs of our clients. Large, well-known investment banks don’t pursue these opportunities, partly for staffing and other bureaucratic reasons, but mostly because smaller-scale and “one-off” deals don’t fit in with their institutional income-generating models. |
